The Stinger 45v2 is designed to function around a computer radio that is able to mix a 2 servo wing.  A computer radio is not absolutely necessary, but the design features will not be fully utilized without one.  Flaperon, camber, elevator to flap mixing, spoileron, and dual rates are very useful.

Servo Recommendations:  Futaba 3114, Bluebird 306 MAX, Hitec HS-45HB, JR S185.  Servos that are .4" (10mm) thick or less are best for the wing.

Battery:  4.8v AAA square pack.

Receiver:  2.125" x 1" x .625" or smaller


Control Surface Throws
Ailerons: 1/4"+ up (6.5mm), 50% down
Elevator: 3/16" (4.7mm) up, 3/16" (4.7mm) down
Camber:  Both Ailerons Down 1/16" (1.5mm), Elevator goes up 3%
Snap Flap: both ailerons drop 1/16" (1.5mm) to full up elevator,  both ailerons up 3/32" (2mm)  for full down elevator
Spoilers: Both Ailerons up 5/16" (8mm) - Elevator Goes Down 4%


Center of Gravity (CG):  2 to 2 1/8" (50mm to 54mm) measured from the LE at the root.
